Class action lawsuit filed in federal court against Winner School District (South Dakota) charging that the District maintains an environment hostile to Native Americans students.

OCR administrative complaint against Winner School District (06/22/2005)
Complaint shows that Native American students in Winner School District, South Dakota, continue to be subject to racially discriminatory discipline. Complaint was filed with the Office of Civil Rights of the U.S. Department of Education (OCR) on behalf of 14 Native American families.
