New ACLU Polling Shows Voters in Crucial Battlegrounds and Nationwide Prefer Proven Solutions Over Toughness on Immigration

The ACLU polled voters in some of the most competitive battleground states, key congressional districts, as well as voters nationally, on major questions related to immigration and the border. This research, coupled with surveys from other leading organizations and research firms, shows voters overwhelmingly prefer a balanced, solutions-focused policy approach that includes both managing the border and providing a road to citizenship for long-term residents over fear-based policies that betray core American values and put vulnerable people in danger.
