Bio
Angélica César was a legal intern for the Human Rights Program at the American Civil Liberties Union. She is the proud daughter of immigrants and first-generation law student at the UC Berkeley School of Law. At Berkeley Law, she has served as Student Body Co-President, Co-Leader of the Berkeley Immigration Group, Student Advocate for the Post-Conviction Advocacy Project, Clinical Student for the International Human Rights Law Clinic and California Law Review Executive Editor.
Angélica also serves as Vice-President of Civic Engagement for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute’s Alumni Association. Her advocacy has earned her recognition as a U.S. President’s Volunteer Service Awardee, Hispanic Executive 30 Under 30 Community Leader, Congressman Ed Pastor Civic Leadership Medallion Recipient and Hon. Cruz Reynoso Public Service Fellowship Awardee.
