Bio
Annie Gersh is a legal fellow with the ACLU’s Abortion Criminal Defense Initiative where she works on litigation and advocacy to challenge the criminalization of abortion. She is a 2024 graduate of Columbia Law School where she was a James Kent Scholar. While in law school, Annie represented asylum seekers through the Columbia Immigrants’ Rights Clinic, assisted with civil rights cases at Ali & Lockwood LLP, and helped represent people on death row at the Federal Defenders of Idaho. Annie received a B.A. in Political Science from Brown University.
