This document, written by Attorney General Michael Mukasey in 2008, provides the standard minimization procedures which govern the acquisition, retention, and dissemination of nonpublicly available information concerning unconsenting U.S. persons that the FBI obtains pursuant to orders issued by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court or emergency authorizations by the Attorney General under FISA.
