Update (1/18/2018): The Senate and the House voted to extend unconstitutional spying powers. We're disappointed but not defeated - we'll use every tool at our disposal to stop the continued abuse of these spying powers.

We still have a chance at necessary reform of Section 702 government surveillance. Congress kicked the can down the road in 2017 – and now we’re facing a new January deadline. The House passed a bill to give the Trump administration greater authority to spy on Americans, immigrants, journalists, dissidents, and everyone else – the Senate is on track to do the same. It's critical that every one of us calls our senators to tell them to put constitutional limits on government surveillance.
